I got this TV for my wife for Christmas so she could easily watch a DVD in whatever room she was in. Unfortunately, the one I received would not play any DVDs at all - it would not recognize any disc. Amazon took care of the return quickly though and sent me a new one. When that one arrived, I sent back the broken unit. The new one works just fine and the wife has been using it quite a bit.
