Toshiba 15LV505 Reviews

I purchased this TV because the cabinets in my new kitchen were too low to accommodate my old TV sitting on top on the converter box. I liked the low profile and the fact that it was black which would match my appliances. I also appreciated the fact that it was an HDTV even though the DirecTV converter box I intended to use it with was not HD. That was a concern because some LCD screens do not look good in non-HD mode. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the picture is excellant. Frankly, at 8-10 feet away, I can't tell that it's NOT HD. Being a DVD player is another plus that makes this TV a good bargain. The fact that the screen angle cannot be changed is a negative. It would have been easy to add this feature. The other thing that is a bit annoying is the red(off)/blue(on) light on the front that is 5X too large for its intended purpose.
